A good recipe can come from anywhere.

We’re confident we have the best automatic recipe importer anywhere, thanks to Apple Intelligence. Bring in a bookmarked page, a cookbook photo, or pasted notes. Flavor Folio brings the ingredients and method together for you to review before saving.

Paste a recipe link. Flavor Folio reads the page and keeps the source with your recipe. What it can import depends on the page.

  • Import a link, page photos, or pasted text.
  • Review ingredients and steps, with source evidence where available.
  • Keep the original source close at hand.

A little company in the kitchen

Your next step, right in front of you.

Settle into cooking. See the instruction you need, check off its ingredients, and keep an eye on the timer. Pick up where you left off when you come back.

Keep the instruction, adjustable timer, and ingredient checklist together. Your position and checks are saved when you leave.

A little planning. One shopping list.

Put good food on the calendar.

Choose a day, a meal, and how many you are feeding. Your seven-day plan keeps the week in view. When it is time to shop, bring the ingredients together and leave out what you already have.

  • Plan breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack.
  • Set servings separately for each meal.
  • Review the combined ingredients before adding them to your list.

Bring one list. Leave out what you have.

Review your plan’s ingredients before adding them to your shopping list. Compatible amounts combine, products fall into store sections, and bought items tuck into your basket.

Change a product’s section and the app remembers. Arrange section order yourself, or learn from consistent trips.

What can I make?

Start with what you have.

Chickpeas, spinach, feta, and half a lemon. Or just a feeling for dinner. Add your time and food preferences, choose one of three ideas, then review the full recipe.

Each suggestion lists extra ingredients you may need. Reading and generation can be imperfect; check the recipe before cooking.

Why we build this way

Apple Intelligence is designed for privacy and security. Its on-device models are available to apps at no cost per request, helping us avoid expensive external AI services and keep Flavor Folio free. Apple’s cloud features have their own availability and usage limits.

Flavor Folio also requires iOS 27 or iPadOS 27 or later. Updating the operating system does not add Apple Intelligence support to incompatible hardware.

Before you start. Apple Intelligence must be enabled and its models ready. Availability also depends on your language and region. Allow model downloads to finish before opening Flavor Folio.

Your kitchen, thoughtfully kept

Saved locally. Clear about the cloud.

Your recipes, plans, and groceries are saved on your device. Optional iCloud sync connects your own devices. Recipe reading, ideas, variations, and step help prefer Apple’s Private Cloud Compute when available, with device fallback.

How your data is handled

Good food starts with a recipe worth keeping.

From the first recipe you save to the last thing on your shopping list. Requires Apple Intelligence on a supported iPhone or iPad.
